Backing Into the Semantic Web

We've been working our way back into the semantic web. The web started off in the layout/presentational layer with flat HTML files. Presentational elements were manually combined with content, to make the finished product. Thankfully most web sites realized that the an economy of scale could be achieved by seperating content from presentation. In essence, producing a logical layer with unique content to be added to shared presentation

The semantic web in the next level. Allowing web sites to seperate the narrative or structure, from the unique data. Allowing for data objects to be shared, reused, and manipulated into new narratives and structures.
