Web/Print buy

As newspaper's online editions mature, online only content will eventually flourish and gather its own unique audience. It would be a mistake for the print editions to ignore this content.

I expect that within a few years, it will become commmonplace for a newspaper to publish page within the physical paper daily devoted to previously online-only content.

In addition to providing an additional window into the online site, this would allow for major online-initiated joint buys. For instance a full day big-unit online and the footer of the print edition's "online" page.
